I added a mismatched link to my Dummy collection but the link has not disappeared

Symptom
  • When trying to disconnect a mismatched link in WorldCat Discovery a user adds a record to their Dummy collection in the WorldCat knowledge base, but the link continues to appear.

Resolution

The information in the Dummy collection's title record must batch the information in the bad bibliographic record. Make sure you check the following:

  • Title
  • Override OCN
  • ISBN
  • Format Type (ie. links appearing on Ebook or print records must have the Ebook format, serials must have the journal format,  Videos must have the Video format, etc.)

If you've checked all of these, but the link still appears, contact OCLC Support with your OCLC symbol, the OCN of the title with the bad link and an image of the bad result page proving they are not the same.
