How can I open my report in Microsoft Excel while keeping the OCN, ISBN and barcodes from becoming numbers?

Answer
  1. Download the file to a location you can access from Microsoft Excel™. 
  2. Open Microsoft Excel™.
  3. Click the Open button. 
  4. Click Browse.
  5. Find your file (You might have to switch to the All format type in order to find .txt files) and select it from the list.
  6. Click Open.
  7. Click the "My data has headers." checkbox and make sure Delimited is set as the Original data type.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Click th Other checkbox and type the | "pipe" key
  10. Click Next.
  11. If your data includes CONs, ISBNs or barcodes select each of them, then click the Text radio button above the field list for each one to make sure they are treated as text rather than as numbers. 
  12. Click Finish.
  13. Your Excel file should open so you can see the data after a short pause
